Peacebuilding and social cohesion
Peace is not the absence of incident. It is the presence of something a community has built and can maintain on its own. We work with local leaders, security actors and civil authorities to mediate before a dispute escalates, and on the everyday cohesion that decides whether it escalates at all.

Building safe, resilient communities through conflict mediation and prevention, and by strengthening the cohesion that holds groups together under pressure.
Mediation and early warning
Convening the parties to a dispute alongside traditional and civil authorities, and supporting the local structures that spot tension early.
Social cohesion
Bringing groups divided by conflict, displacement or livelihood competition into shared work with a common stake in the outcome.
Community dialogue
The village square meetings and dialogue groups where most durable agreements are actually reached.
